Sara is a Senior Solicitor and head of the family department, having joined Enoch Evans in April 2021. Prior to joining the firm Sara worked for one of the leading law firms in the West Midlands/Shropshire area for over 15 years, having been a Partner for 6 of those.
Sara has experience in all areas of family work and can advise on:
Divorce/Dissolution of Civil Partnership
Financial matters including those involving businesses, investments, property portfolios and pension assets.
Pre- and Post- Nuptial Agreements.
Disputes in relation to Children.
Domestic abuse/Injunction proceedings.
Matters which may arise in relation to non-married couples, including Cohabitation Agreements and Declarations of Trust.
In recent years, Sara has dealt with financial matters involving property portfolios, assets abroad, public sector pensions and business assets in the form of shareholdings or sole trading businesses and arguments over pre- and post- acquired assets. Many of Sara’s matters have required expert valuation, accountancy or actuarial evidence. Sara has also built up a strong practice in complex private law children cases, to include dealing with emergency applications, the issue of schooling, change of a child’s main residence, internal relocation and the appointment of experts including Guardians, independent Social Workers and Psychologists. Sara has also dealt with cases where there has been domestic abuse and is able to deal with applications where there is an overlap between injunction proceedings and issues with regard to children.

Hobbies & interests:
Outside of her work commitments, Sara is a keen runner and has run the London Marathon and Manchester half Marathon and hopes to participate in other events in the near future. Sara loves nothing more than spending time with her young family and being outdoors.
