Catherine joined Enoch Evans as a Trainee Solicitor in 2001 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2003. Catherine is a Senior Solicitor practicing in public law proceedings, representing parents in care proceedings brought by the local Authority, and crime. She has extensive advocacy experience and is a qualified Higher Courts Advocate.
Catherine has extensive experience in dealing with clients charged with criminal offences before transferring to Child Care Law.
Catherine was named Birmingham Law Society’s Trainee of the Year in 2004 in recognition of her achievements.
Catherine can assist with:
– Representing parents in pre proceedings (PLO meetings) with the Local Authority
– Representing parents in care proceedings at Court
– Representing parents in applications for discharge of care proceedings
– Contact with children in care

Hobbies & interests: Outside of work she is a School Governor and enjoys foreign travel
