Andrew is a member of the Civil Litigation Department and has a broad range of experience in dealing with all types of legal problems faced by individuals. Andrew’s practice focuses mainly on disputed Wills and Estates; property disputes including ownership, boundaries and rights of way; and residential landlord and tenant claims. Andrew also has Court of Protection experience and acts on behalf of Attorneys and Deputies.
Andrew is calm and measured, considering each Client’s needs and possible outcomes before agreeing a strategy designed to resolve disputes. This tailored and empathetic method of working is vitally important when dealing with emotive and complex issues such as disputed Wills, ownership of someone’s home or when a party has lost mental capacity. To assist with this process Andrew favours the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution, such as mediation, wherever possible.
Prior to joining Enoch Evans LLP, Andrew read law at the University of Hull, graduating in 2003 with an LL.B (Hons). He was called to the Bar in 2004 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in August 2010. Andrew has worked in law firms in London, Ipswich and Norwich before settling in the West Midlands and has specialised in litigation for his entire career.
Andrew’s recent experience includes:
Securing payment of an inheritance for beneficiaries in an estate which was not being administered in accordance with the law;
