Christopher recently advised a Deputy who had been appointed by the Court of Protection to manage a lady’s property and affairs. The lady had unfortunately lost capacity to deal with her own financial affairs though medical negligence at birth. Christopher’s involvement included arranging for her money to be invested with the aid of an Independent Financial Advisor, for both capital growth and income, to support her during her lifetime. Christopher deals with all day to day management of her affairs including ensuring she is in receipt of the correct benefits.
Christopher has recently been involved in a Court of Protection matter where a gentleman has lost capacity and monies had been misappropriated by family members.
