Conveyancing Legal Support Assistant – Walsall Office

We are looking for someone with experience of providing administrative support to Conveyancing Fee Earners for a full time, permanent role in our Conveyancing Team.

You should have 1 - 2 years experience in dealing with the following -

  • Opening and maintenance of digital files
  • Taking calls from clients and 3rd parties to deal with queries
  • Attending to clients in person
  • Scanning any incoming post and attaching to the relevant matters
  • Ensure that the correct documents from the clients have been received at the relevant time
  • Order any searches required, review if relevant and report to Fee Earner or Client
  • Assist with enquiries from buyers solicitors
  • Draft TR1 and Stamp Duty forms
  • Preparation of completion documents and notices
  • Post completion tasks inc letters and stamp duty
  • Preparation of Land Registry requisitions

 

Ideally, we are looking for a full time person with our office hours being Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch. Our Conveyancing team are based across all of our offices, with this role primarily based at our main office in Walsall. However, there may be a requirement to work from one of the other locations from time to time.
