Residential Conveyancing Legal Support Assistant
An opportunity has arisen within our Residential Conveyancing Team for a full time Legal Support Assistant to join our very busy and well-established team. The successful candidate will work alongside two other Assistants and four executive staff across both of our offices based in Walsall and Sutton Coldfield.
As a Legal Support Assistant, you will support the Team in the smooth conduct of client files by undertaking all required administrative duties, including but not limited to –
• Onboarding of new clients
• Maintenance of digital files
• Assist in taking initial instructions
• Be a point of contact for our clients and 3rd parties
• Undertake relevant searches, registrations and SDLT formalities
• Draft completions statements and invoices
• Facilitate money transfers and any associated financial transactions
You will also proactively assist the Team and Firm in its ongoing business development and marketing activities by, supporting any in house or external events, establishing relationships with clients and contacts, and ensuring we always deliver a high standard of client service.
You will possess a high technical competence in all Microsoft applications and video conferencing software’s such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Skype. You will have at least 2 years’ hands on experience of working within a Conveyancing team where you will have assisted with the running of client files from start to and finish.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, able to use their own initiative and operate with a high level of accuracy whilst meeting tight deadlines. Additionally, you will demonstrate a proactive approach to furthering your own personal development and embrace change.
