Enoch Evans Solicitors is delighted to celebrate the success of apprentices Lucy Wheaver and Poppi Hall, who have both successfully passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Part 1, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards qualification as solicitors.

Lucy and Poppi joined the firm through an alternative route into the legal profession, undertaking legal apprenticeships that allow them to gain practical experience while studying towards qualification. Their achievement reflects both their dedication and the strength of the firm’s commitment to supporting diverse pathways into law.

The SQE is a rigorous national assessment for aspiring solicitors, testing candidates’ functioning legal knowledge across a wide range of practice areas. Passing SQE1 is a major step toward qualification, and the firm is proud to see both Lucy and Poppi reach this stage of their professional development.

Enoch Evans has long championed the development of future legal talent. The firm is committed to attracting, developing and retaining outstanding people, and invests significantly not only in the technical training but also personal development of its team members.

This commitment is reflected in the firm’s leadership,  many of Enoch Evans’ partners began their careers with the firm as trainees, including Managing Partner Stephen Nixon, demonstrating the firm’s longstanding culture of nurturing talent and providing clear pathways for progression.

Commenting on the achievement, Stephen Nixon said:

“We are incredibly proud of Lucy and Poppi for reaching this important milestone. Their success highlights the value of alternative routes into the profession and the dedication they have shown in balancing demanding work and study commitments. At Enoch Evans, we are passionate about supporting our people throughout their careers and creating opportunities for them to grow and succeed.”

Lucy and Poppi will now continue their journey toward qualification, building on their practical experience within the firm while preparing for the next stage of the SQE.

Enoch Evans congratulates them both on their success and looks forward to supporting them as they continue their careers with the firm.
