Anna Weston
Anna is an Advanced Paralegal within the Court of Protection team at Enoch Evans Solicitors, specialising in matters involving individuals who lack, or may lack, the mental capacity to manage their own financial affairs and make certain decisions for themselves.
Anna joined Enoch Evans in 2018 as an Office Assistant and subsequently progressed into the Court of Protection department as a Paralegal. In April 2025, she was promoted to Advanced Paralegal, reflecting her developing specialist knowledge and experience in this complex area of law.
Anna works closely with individuals, families and professional representatives, providing practical assistance with Court of Protection applications, Deputyship, financial management and matters involving mental capacity. She combines detailed knowledge of the practical requirements involved in managing a client's affairs with a kind, patient and supportive approach.

Anna's experience extends beyond the preparation of applications. She understands the practical responsibilities involved in managing a person's financial affairs on an ongoing basis and the importance of ensuring that decisions are made appropriately and, in the individual’s, best interests.
She understands that individuals who require Court of Protection support may feel vulnerable, anxious or uncertain about the process. Families can also find it difficult to know what legal arrangements are required when a loved one is unable to manage their own affairs.
Her approach is particularly important when working with families who are seeking arrangements to protect and manage the finances of a vulnerable adult or someone with a learning difficulty or dementia.
Anna's Dementia Friend status reflects her commitment to understanding the experiences of people living with dementia and supporting clients and families with sensitivity and respect.
She enjoys helping individuals who would otherwise struggle to manage their finances and supporting families who need assistance in putting appropriate arrangements in place for a loved one.
